Key Principles of ABA:

  • Positive Reinforcement – Encouraging new skills by rewarding helpful behaviours.

  • ABC Model – Understanding behaviour by examining the Antecedent, Behaviour, and Consequence.

  • Functional Behaviour Assessment (FBA) – Identifying the why behind behaviours to create effective support strategies.

  • Generalisation – Ensuring skills learned are used in real-life settings like home, school, and community.

Benefits of ABA:

  • Builds communication and social skills

  • Reduces challenging behaviours

  • Promotes independence through daily living skills

  • Suitable for children and adults with autism or other developmental needs

ABA therapy is personalised, flexible, and can be delivered one-to-one, at home, or in educational settings. At ABA Consultant London, we tailor every intervention to support meaningful and lasting progress.

Testimonials

“I started with Pooja from the start of 2023, she is great consultant and most soft-spoken person I have come across. She is very keen about her profession and with her help I have seen so much of progress in my son, since we started. I am glad that I started ABA therapy for my son and that was turning point for him. He is progressing on daily basis. I would have loved to continue ABA therapy with Pooja for my son in future also, but we moved to Scotland.”

“Pooja was my son’s consultant for over a year, and she is a great person and a consultant. She made ABA simple by writing steps that are easy to follow. She replied to my messages and tried to find solutions with me, whenever a new behaviour occurred, even if it was not in my son's programme. I feel comfortable with her, she always focussed on what parents needs and listened to them. She also arranged a monthly meeting to observe how the child is doing, observe the tutor, and make sure the child got what he needs and provided different strategies to achieve the target. She asked the tutor to collect data to see the child’s progress and how he responded to the program provided. She was always on time and never cancelled."

“We highly recommend Pooja for her outstanding work with our son, who is on the autism spectrum. Her empathy, skill, and personalized approach have greatly benefited his development and progress. She’s patient, accommodating, and innovative in her approach, never incorporating a one size fits all attitude, she understands the child, takes the time to bond with him or her, and then develops a special strategy that gels well with each child's unique needs. We as a family are grateful for her service to our son and highly appreciate her contribution.”
